Router Tables
Anyone who has ever used a router knows what a valuable tool is to have. Adding a good quality router table will make your router possibly the most versatile tool in your workshop. Today there are countless router tables on the market so which one do you choose? Well that's a hard question to answer to most people the price point will be important but in all fairness you really need to look at what you plan on doing with your router table.
If you think that you will mainly be using your router table for doing edge work and possibly other light-duty routing chores and you can probably get away with an inexpensive light-duty router table.
If you are looking to do more with a router table then you need to step up to a better table if you plan on doing things such as building custom cabinet doors that require a very solid base then you need a solid router table. If this is the case look for a table that is very well built and should be happy you should have a good quality T track system as well as a good sense. One more thing that you should look at it is usually overlooked is the dust collection ports, dust collection is important today especially when working with Woods that contain hazardous materials.
